Could we possibly put xmas off by a month or so???

Despite the fact that i was getting pretty excited wrapping the presents last night, i am just too unorganized this year... Dakota was in the choir at the carols last weekend, i was so proud of her:)
The school year is OVER, whew, everyone always starts to get so cranky towards the end of the year. it has been a big year,exhausting to say the least.

Jai LOVED the toy run, the best way to describe- we sit on our folding chairs out on the footpath for an hour waiting, then watch the motorbikes and wave and listen to Jai going OH MY GOD for an hour, then eat melting lollies that they throw at us...fun times,lol, i will miss it when we move(soon)

What a little charmer he is... From his little royal wave, to his love of boobs, he really is my darling buddah boy.Look at him,this is his first birthday, after 'tasting' the cake!



He is not keen to be weaned, and seeing how much he LOVES it, i cant bear to do it, so my time away is limited, but thats okay with me:)

what camera?

getting my slr in about 2 weeks,looking at other peoples pics on here making me anxious! cant wait until i take my first picture! I am leaning towards the Sony Alpha, but im not sure.
Its very quiet here, buddah boy Luka sleeping, and im pretty sure Simon snuck off for a nap too. It has been horrible and hot all weekend, today is no different.
Jai is playing quitely in his room, and the 3 girls are at school, i dont mind saying they are driving me CRAZY at the moment, with the room cleaning, or should i say, non-cleaning. Hopefully when we move, and they have their own rooms, it will improve...
Really having trouble deciding on a camera, found a website that told you'the best digital slr for you' first you had to decide your photo'style' ie portraits etc... well i love taking portaits,landscapes,action shots,night shots(although my fuji 8100 is crap at night shots) and i LOVE my macro button:) so im struggling...

Day 1-monday 1st December

so heres my fist blog- starting today at 5:30am! Luka is still sick, just the flu, but a very miserable bubba all the same. i want to take him and Jai out today, to take some photos, but i dont think hes in the mood:(


its a pity the botanical gardens are far away, im loving taking flower pictures at the moment and i guess ill need some in my application portfolio for tafe next year.

2 weeks to go until the last day of school, then the rush of xmas, since i am not organised at all, in years past i would be done by now, but 2008 has been a weird year, i feel as though 2009 must be better. we will be moving soon after xmas too, so i will have to find a new school and all that, the kids will probably miss the first few weeks while i get them organised...ill have to put another blog on leter, a strictly photos one, id lve hearing any comments on my pictures:)
